This weekend I took a family trip to the beautiful Robin Hood’s bay on the North East coast of England. This was a lovely little getaway from the busy day-to-day schedule back home to a place that’s particularly atmospheric at this time of year. Definitely perfect for wrapping up warm and going for long walks along the cliff tops for inspiration. Here are a few pictures I took en route.

I’m in Frankfurt all this week on a writing camp with the brilliant production/writing team ‘Mozart and Friends’… I arrived yesterday after a really really long journey (up at 3am) and got to work straight away. Two sessions down and now two great songs done.

I can’t believe it’s May already! The last couple of months have been so busy for me… after the massive high of my showcase, I’ve been getting down to work on finishing up my degree at LIPA. I’ve had a couple of gigs to keep me going too in the meantime!

Just to keep you posted about what I’ll be up to over the next few weeks…

I’ll be in London on 23rd (Monday) for a gig in the uber cool Proud Camden http://www.proudcamden.com/events.aspx

Then I have another gig on 26th in Shoreditch (venue details to follow).

It’s finally the day of my big showcase at LIPA as part of 3rd Degree festival!!! Ahhhhhhh!! I’m SO excited. I’m on stage at 6pm and there are some other fantastic acts performing - Evelyn Burke and Fieldhouse! Come along…you don’t want to miss this!!!

I’ve had the most manic day today already and it’s only tea time! I’ve been up for the studio since 8am working on some big shiny pop songs I wrote over the Summer after coming back from my trip around the States. They’re sounding HUGE…I’m so excited to hear what they’re going to be like when they’re finished as this project’s been such a departure for me musically!

I’m back in the studio until 2am tonight but in the meantime, I’m playing a gig in the lovely Studio 2 in Parr St., Liverpool! We’re going to be premiering a new song tonight and my Dad’s even going to be helping us out on guitar! It’s another chance for us to play the set before my big SHOWCASE on 4th April.
